Chinese 2023 lithium-ion battery output exceeded 138 gwh in march-april, up 45% year-on-year

From March to April 2023, China's lithium-ion battery (hereinafter referred to as "lithium battery") industry will maintain a growth trend. According to industry norms and announcements of enterprise information and research institutions, the total output of lithium batteries in the country will exceed 138GWh from March to April, a year-on-year increase of 45%.
In the first-order material link, the output of positive electrode materials, negative electrode materials, separators, and electrolytes reached 275,000 tons, 220,000 tons, 1.8 billion square meters, and 135,000 tons respectively from March to April.
In terms of batteries, the output of energy storage lithium batteries is about 22GWh, and the installed capacity of power batteries for new energy vehicles is about 53GWh. The export trade has grown steadily. From March to April, the total export of lithium batteries in the country was 75.4 billion yuan.
In the first-order material link, the output of positive electrode materials, negative electrode materials, separators, and electrolytes reached 275,000 tons, 220,000 tons, 1.8 billion square meters, and 135,000 tons respectively from March to April.
In the second-stage material link, the output of lithium carbonate and lithium hydroxide reached 63,000 tons and 46,000 tons respectively from March to April, and the market prices continued to decline. It is 258,000 yuan/ton and 332,000 yuan/ton.
